About Everyday Explained

Publisher and author

Everyday Explained is an independent online publication. Articles currently use the publication’s organizational byline. We do not claim specialist qualifications, firsthand attendance or interviews unless a particular article identifies that work.

How articles are made

Our current explainers are prepared with AI assistance. We use dated reporting and linked sources to distinguish documented facts from interpretation. AI assistance is not evidence that a claim is correct: readers should be able to follow the original source. We do not present these articles as independently commissioned human reporting.

Sources and corrections

For changing events, we prioritize organizers, official documentation and other primary sources. Each article shows its update date. A completed-game recap is not a live score service. If you find an error, send the article URL, the disputed detail and a supporting source to spidermanpikaop@gmail.com.

Reading and membership

Public articles are free to read. Chess tools are a separate, private member service. Read our privacy policy for information about accounts, analytics and advertising.
